China will host an international symposium on theater art and performance exhibition in Beijing from October 21 to 27, organizers said Thursday.
Sponsored by Chinese Ministry of Education and Central Academy of Drama (CAD), the event has attracted 20 drama colleges at home and abroad. There will be six seminars, 25 drama classes and 54 performances of 16 plays, said CAD President Xu Xiang.
"It will be the first international activity on performing education China has hosted," he said.
The college teachers and students to attend the event come from China, Russia, Britain, The US, Ireland, Japan, Republic of Korea, India and Singapore.
