Chinese Vice Premier Huang Ju met in Beijing Tuesday with Peter Bakker, chief executive officer of the TNT Co. of the Netherlands.
Huang said Sino-European economic and trade cooperation constitutes an important component of China's opening-up drive, and China's rapid economic growth and foreign trade development need good logistic service.
TNT is a world provider for express and logistic service, and has conducted sound cooperation with China in the logistic field and automobile industry, he said.
"We support cooperation between the China Ocean Shipping Company and the TNT and will make greater efforts to upgrade the competitiveness of our country's logistics," Huang said.
