Chinese President Hu Jintao sent a message of condolence to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday over the crashes of two passenger planes in the country.
In the message, President Hu also offered his sincere sympathy with the relatives of those killed in the tragedy.
Two passenger jets taking off from a Moscow airport crashed Tuesday night with at least 89 people on board, Russian authorities said. No survivors were reported.
