An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale shook Lumajang town in the Indonesian province of East Java Tuesday morning.
The tremor was centered beneath the sea, some 119 km south of Lumajang regency, reported Detikcom online news service.
There was no immediate report of casualty and damages.
