A spokesperson for China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region says a girl from Hong Kong is the latest victim of the South East Asian tsunami.
Her death in Phuket, in Thailand, brings the toll for Chinese citizens from Hong Kong killed in the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunamis to 12.
The spokesperson says that the Hong Kong relief team in Thailand is still providing necessary services in the region and helping the Hong Kong citizens there.
The local government will change the number of the team as new cases arise.
