The delegations of the US and North Korea held their third one-on-one meeting Thursday morning, attempting to narrow their differences in the ongoing talks aimed at denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula.
The outcome of the US-North Korea bilateral consultations is widely believed to have an impact, to a large extent, on the development of the current round of six-party talks, which also involves China, South Korea, Russia and Japan.
The US delegation head Christopher Hill and his North Korean counterpart Kim Kye-gwan first held a 75-minute meeting at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse Monday before the start of the multinational talks.
They met again Tuesday in long discussions, which the Americans described as "good" and "businesslike."
