Turn Left, Turn Right

This movie is adapted from Taiwan Cartoonist Ji Mi's cartoon book by the same name, telling a tale of impatient love.
Violinist Kang lives just next door to a young girl named Yi., divided by one single wall. Day in, and day out, they come and go through two doors in the wall, Kang through the left door, turning left, and Yi through the right door, heading right, always missing one another.
One day they happen to meet beside a pool in a park where they soon discover in innocent wonder that they knew each other over thirteen years before at a summer camp. After an entire afternoon of laughter and interesting conversation, the two bid farewell in the pouring rain, exchanging phone numbers.
In an unfortunate twist of fate, both phone numbers get smudged in the rain. Movie-goers will watch in frustration and sympathy as the two youth try desperately to guess at the numbers, calling as many as possible, in search of the person just on the other side of the wall.
As both lament their lost love, they simultaneously come to the decision to leave the city, but before they both can go, fate has one more trick in store.
