John Woo will have Taiwan super model Lin Chi-ling as the heroine in his new film The War of Red Cliff. 

 

John Woo says he appreciates the famous Taiwan model's traditional-style beauty with modern flavor.

 

Lin Chi-ling will team up with some of Asia's best male actors like Tony Leung Chiu Wai, and Zhou Yun-fat in the 12-hundred-million-Taiwan-dollar film that depicts one of the most famous wars in ancient China. The plan is to start shooting the film early next year.

 

As for Lin Chi-ling's child-like voice, John Woo says he believes she will be able to adjust it herself.
