Celebrated Chinese mainland director Zhang Yimou will receive a Doctorate degree from City University of Hong Kong.
President of HK Jockey Club, Arculli Ronald Joseph, President of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, Rita Fan Hsu Lai-tai, and president of the University of California, Tzu-Yow Yang will also receive a doctorate from the university.
This is director Zhang's second doctorate. His first one was from Moscow Film Academy four years ago.
