Zhang Yimou's hit House of Flying Daggers failed to win the judges' favor at this year's Golden Globes.
The award for Best Foreign Film went to Italian film The Sea Inside.
The 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles last night.
