Only 2 percent of enterprises run by women in China make losses, according to a latest survey by the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
China's female entrepreneurs make up for 20 percent of all entrepreneurs and 98 percent of firms run by women are in the black, the survey said.
Although far less women are involved in business than men and their companies are usually smaller, their dedication seems to be superior, said Zhao Xiaodie, board chairwoman of a Hong Kong-based international business company.
Women make sensitive, persistent and steady bosses, Zhao told a meeting of women's federation chiefs in Hangzhou on Monday.
"We tend to be more reliable as credibility is more important to us than it is to men, which makes us more competitive in a world where credibility is key," Zhao concluded.
