China's Yu Fengtong has finished 5th in men's 500 meter speed skating Tuesday morning Beijing Time. The top Chinese skater fell at the finishing line, coming in at 70.68 seconds to stand 5th in the rankings. Joey Cheek has taken the gold medal with a time of 69.76 seconds. Three more Chinese skaters have also taken part in the competition and finished in 19th, 28th and 33rd overall. (CRI English 14, 2006) |
