Rescue workers put a net around a giant panda found stranded in the snow at Xiling Snow Mountain, Dayi County, southwest China's Sichuan Province January 6, 2003.
The 20-year-old panda, which is 80 cm tall and 1.6 m long, was transported to a nearby ski area. Provincial forestry and Wolong Panda Protection Zone experts will carry out a comprehensive health check on the panda.
