100 Chinese sturgeons released into the sea
Adjust font size:

Workers release 100 Chinese sturgeons into the sea off Xiamen, in southwest China's Fujian Province, yesterday. The rare fish bear identification marks for future research.

The Chinese sturgeon, known as a living fossil because it is one of the oldest vertebrates in the world, has existed for more than 200 million years.
