WWF project will mean cleaner water for Shanghai

One of Shanghai's primary drinking water sources, Taihu Lake, will be the subject of a World Wide Fund for Nature pilot scheme to improve water quality, Shanghai Daily reported.

The WWF announced yesterday it has asked a leading Chinese research institute to develop plans to improve water ecology in the lake.
