Large areas of Glauber's salt crystals were discovered recently in Yuncheng Saline Lake in Shanxi Province in northern China.  

 

Recently, beautiful Glauber's salt crystals was discovered in Yuncheng Saline Lake in northern China's Shanxi Province.

 

Experts say Glauber's salt, under certain temperatures, agglomerate on the leaves of grass and wood to form crystals. But Glauber's salt crystals in large areas are a rare sight.

 

Yuncheng Saline Lake takes up a 13-hectare area.
