Xinjiang, Tibet and Qinghai have established five natural reserves for the precious Tibetan Antelope, to safeguard the Tibentan antelope's habitats and healthcare.
The number of Tibetan Antelope has risen thanks to protective measures by three provinces in northwest China.
All three provinces have sent reports to the central government detailing their measures to safeguard the Tibetan antelopes' habitats and healthcare, while cracking down on hunting and smuggling of the animals.
The Tibetan antelope is one of the key protected animals in China. It is found on a plateau, at a height of four to five thousand meters in northwest China.
