A new comedy film, "Big Movie 2.0: Two Stupid Eggs," has opened in Chinese theaters.
Director A Gan on Friday introduced leading cast members Guo Tao and Liu Xinyou to promote the film's release in Shanghai, where the film was shot.
The lighthearted film is a sequel of the 2006 box-office hit "Big Movie." Director A Gan said he had no qualms that the new film would become a commercial success in Shanghai, as its Shanghainese-rich lines can really "hit home."
Some viewers at the film's premiere said it has a fuller story than "Big Movie."
