The first website run by China's fledgling taxi industry, "www.taxinet.com.cn", recently opened in Jilin City, Jilin Province, in the country's northeast.
The website, operated by the local taxi authority, releases information on routine administration and from other government departments concerned.
The website also offers a forum for officials and taxi drivers to share their views and air opinions.
