La Ignorancia, or Ignorance, the latest novel from Czech novelist Milan Kundera, has been published in China recently by the Shanghai Translation Publishing House.
La Ignorancia, along with La Lenteur, or Slowness, and L'identite, or Identity, is known as Kundera's "Trilogy of Exile."
The novel was first published in Spanish after it was finished in 2000 and its French edition came out last year.
Twelve of Kundera's plays have been published in China.
So far more than 1.3 million copies of his works have been sold in China.
The Czech writer, born in 1929, left for France in 1975, and became a naturalized French citizen in 1981.
