Herdsmen of Kazak ethnic group, living at Ashili Township, Jichang, Xinjiang, are playing a stringed instrument in the yurt of the Longshan Kazak Folklore Ski Resort that they established to welcome visitors January 13, 2004. The herdsmen in Ashili Town began their settlement and semi-settlement in 1992. Longshan Kazak Folklore Ski Resort was established in 2003 under the help and guidance of the local government.
