Strengthening Internal Party Governance

Strengthening internal governance is a salient feature of the CPC in governance in the new era. "It takes a good blacksmith to forge good tools." China's success hinges on the Party, especially on the Party's effective self-supervision and full and rigorous internal governance.

Since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, the Party has set its main tasks to be reinforcing its long-term governance capacity, progressive nature, and integrity. Promoting the Party's political development, adhering to the Party's ideals, convictions, and goals, and mobilizing all members' enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity are the means by which the tasks are to be completed. Promoting the Party's development guarantees a vibrant Marxist governing party that stays at the forefront of the times, enjoys the support of the people, has the courage to reform itself, and is able to withstand all tests.

The Party strengthens its internal governance, with the focus on leading officials, or the "key few." It works to ensure that responsibilities for taking charge of and exercising supervision over internal governance are properly fulfilled, while enforcing oversight, discipline, and accountability.

Full and strict internal Party governance has enhanced the Party's ability to improve and reform itself, maintain its integrity, and address the problem of lax and weak self-governance in Party organizations. An overwhelming victory has been won in the fight against corruption, and this momentum has been consolidated across the board. The Party has grown stronger as serious potential threats have been reduced in the Party, the country, and the military.

全面從嚴(yán)治黨

全面從嚴(yán)治黨是新時(shí)代中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨治國(guó)理政的一個(gè)鮮明特征。打鐵必須自身硬，辦好中國(guó)的事情，關(guān)鍵在黨，關(guān)鍵在黨要管黨、全面從嚴(yán)治黨。

中共十八大以來(lái)，中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨以加強(qiáng)黨的長(zhǎng)期執(zhí)政能力建設(shè)、先進(jìn)性和純潔性建設(shè)為主線，以黨的政治建設(shè)為統(tǒng)領(lǐng)，以堅(jiān)定理想信念宗旨為根基，以調(diào)動(dòng)全黨積極性、主動(dòng)性、創(chuàng)造性為著力點(diǎn)，不斷提高黨的建設(shè)質(zhì)量，把黨建設(shè)成為始終走在時(shí)代前列、人民衷心擁護(hù)、勇于自我革命、經(jīng)得起各種風(fēng)浪考驗(yàn)、朝氣蓬勃的馬克思主義執(zhí)政黨。黨以永遠(yuǎn)在路上的清醒和堅(jiān)定，堅(jiān)持嚴(yán)的主基調(diào)，突出抓住“關(guān)鍵少數(shù)”，落實(shí)主體責(zé)任和監(jiān)督責(zé)任，強(qiáng)化監(jiān)督執(zhí)紀(jì)問(wèn)責(zé)，把全面從嚴(yán)治黨貫穿于黨的建設(shè)各方面。

經(jīng)過(guò)堅(jiān)決斗爭(zhēng)，全面從嚴(yán)治黨的政治引領(lǐng)和政治保障作用充分發(fā)揮，黨的自我凈化、自我完善、自我革新、自我提高能力顯著增強(qiáng)，管黨治黨寬松軟狀況得到根本扭轉(zhuǎn)，反腐敗斗爭(zhēng)取得壓倒性勝利并全面鞏固，消除了黨、國(guó)家、軍隊(duì)內(nèi)部存在的嚴(yán)重隱患，黨在革命性鍛造中更加堅(jiān)強(qiáng)。
