CPPCC Sectors

The CPPCC National Committee is composed of different sectors, as are the CPPCC local committees at various levels. The current 14th National Committee has 34 sectors.

These sectors are formed with representative members of society. They serve as venues for different political parties and people's organizations to express their views in the name of each party and organization. They can collect and convey the ideas of individual members of society in a systematic way and, and this makes it easier to collect the ideas of individual members. By pooling the wisdom of people from all walks of life, this also helps effectively coordinate relations between social groups and resolve social problems.

政協界別

中國人民政治協商會議全國委員會設若干界別。政協第十四屆全國委員會共設34個界別。中國人民政治協商會議地方委員會的組成，根據當地情況，參照全國委員會的組成決定。

按界別組成的形式，可以為各個黨派、團體以組織名義發表主張提供場所，使各界群眾中分散、個別的意見得到集中、系統的表達，廣泛吸納社會各方面人士的智慧，有利于通過界別協調關系、化解矛盾。
