Circuit Tribunals of the Supreme People's Court

The circuit tribunals of the Supreme People's Court mainly hear major administrative, civil and commercial lawsuits that involve more than one administrative area. Their verdicts, rulings, and decisions are deemed as those by the Supreme People's Court, as they all represent the Supreme People's Court.

The Supreme People's Court opened its first circuit tribunal in Shenzhen of Guangdong Province in January 2015, to accept and hear the civil and commercial cases, administrative litigation, and criminal appeals in the four provincial-level administrative areas of Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan that need to be heard by the Supreme People's Court, as well as the civil and commercial cases and judicial assistance cases that involve the residents in the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions. It is also responsible for settling the complaints lodged to the Supreme People's Court by the residents in Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan.

By July 2022, the Supreme People's Court had set up six circuit tribunals.

最高人民法院巡回法庭

最高人民法院巡回法庭，是最高人民法院下屬機構，主要審理跨行政區域重大行政和民商事案件。巡回法庭作出的判決、裁定和決定，是最高人民法院的判決、裁定和決定，代表最高人民法院。

最高人民法院第一巡回法庭于2015年1月在廣東省深圳市正式掛牌成立，主要受理湖南、廣東、廣西、海南四省區內應當由最高人民法院審理的一審、二審、申請再審的民商事案件、行政訴訟案件，刑事申訴案件，以及涉港澳臺民商事案件和司法協助案件等，就地解決四省區的來信來訪案件。截至2022年7月，最高人民法院共設置第一至第六巡回法庭。
