The spirit of the first revolutionary base in the Jinggang Mountains

In 1927, after the failure of its urban uprising, the CPC established its first revolutionary base in the Jinggang Mountains in Jiangxi Province. From there it began to organize the peasantry to encircle the cities from the rural areas and seize political power through armed struggle.

The spirit of the first revolutionary base in the Jinggang Mountains is perseverance, and a belief in achieving victory through armed struggle. The significance of this spirit is that it helped the CPC to find its own road to revolution. It is the basis of the fine tradition of the CPC, a driving force for socialism with Chinese characteristics, and an aspiration for realizing national rejuvenation. 

井岡山精神

井岡山是中國革命的搖籃。1927年10月，中國共產黨在江西省建立了第一塊農村根據地——井岡山革命根據地，開辟了“以農村包圍城市、武裝奪取政權”的革命道路。從此，井岡山被載入了中國革命史冊，井岡山精神也在此得到孕育和發展。井岡山精神內涵豐富，堅定信念、艱苦奮斗是其靈魂，實事求是、敢闖新路是其核心，依靠群眾、勇于勝利是其根本。這一跨越時空的革命精神，是中國共產黨優良精神傳統的基礎，是推進中國特色社會主義事業、實現中華民族偉大復興的強大精神動力。
