China-Arab States Cooperation Forum

The launch of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) was announced by Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing of China and Secretary-General Amr Moussa of the League of Arab States on January 30, 2004 after then Chinese President Hu Jintao visited the headquarters of the League, and met with then Secretary-General Amr Moussa and representatives of this 22-member organization.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the Sixth CASCF Ministerial Meeting on June 5, 2014, Chinese President Xi Jinping characterized the CASCF as of strategic importance for the long-term development of bilateral relations and substantive cooperation.

The Seventh CASCF Ministerial Meeting was held in Doha, capital of Qatar, on May 12, 2016. President Xi Jinping and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani each sent a letter of congratulations to the meeting. Under the theme of "Jointly Building the Belt and Road to Reinforce Strategic Cooperation," the meeting reached a broad consensus on bilateral relations and future work of the CASCF.

The Eighth CASCF Ministerial Meeting was held in Beijing on July 10, 2018. Xi Jinping delivered a speech entitled "Joining Hands to Advance Sino-Arab Strategic Partnership in the New Era" at the opening session. He declared that the two sides had agreed to establish a future-oriented Sino-Arab strategic partnership of comprehensive cooperation and common development.

By July 2018, eight CASCF ministerial meetings and 15 senior officials' meetings had been held, in addition to four strategic and political dialogues at senior official level.

中阿合作論壇

2004年1 月30 日，時任中國國家主席胡錦濤訪問了阿拉伯國家聯(lián)盟總部，會見了時任阿盟秘書長阿姆魯·穆薩和 22 個阿盟成員國代表。會見結(jié)束后，時任中國外長李肇星與穆薩秘書長共同宣布成立“中國—阿拉伯國家合作論壇”。2014年6月5日，習(xí)近平主席在中阿合作論壇第六屆部長級會議開幕式上講話表示，中阿合作論壇是著眼中阿關(guān)系長遠(yuǎn)發(fā)展作出的戰(zhàn)略抉擇，已成為豐富中阿關(guān)系戰(zhàn)略內(nèi)涵、推進(jìn)中阿務(wù)實合作的有效抓手。2016年5月12日，中阿合作論壇第七屆部長級會議在卡塔爾多哈舉行。習(xí)近平主席和卡塔爾埃米爾 塔米姆·本·哈馬德·阿勒薩尼分別致賀信。會議圍繞“共建‘一帶一路’，深化中阿戰(zhàn)略合作”議題，就中阿關(guān)系發(fā)展和中阿合作論壇建設(shè)達(dá)成廣泛共識。2018年7月10日，中阿合作論壇第八屆部長級會議在北京舉行。習(xí)近平主席出席會議開幕式并發(fā)表題為《攜手推進(jìn)新時代中阿戰(zhàn)略伙伴關(guān)系》的重要講話，宣布中阿雙方建立全面合作、共同發(fā)展、面向未來的中阿戰(zhàn)略伙伴關(guān)系。截至2018年7月，中國—阿拉伯國家合作論壇已舉行8屆部長級會議、15次高官會，并召開了四次中阿高官級戰(zhàn)略政治對話。
