Inclusive Growth

Inclusive growth has become a universally accepted concept for development since it was first proposed by the Asian Development Bank in 2007. It aims to achieve coordinated and sustainable economic and social development.It is a concept that advances equitable opportunities for economic participants to share the benefits of globalization, helps micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises as well as individuals to achieve growth, protects vulnerable groups, and liberalizes trade and investment.

China has made positive efforts to promote this concept and put it into practice. It is because of the choice of inclusive growth, a path that fits China’s realities, that China has been able to maintain steady economic growth in recent years, in spite a sluggish world economy. In China, creating jobs is the fundamental approach to inclusive growth, widespread entrepreneurship and innovation are effective means to implement inclusive growth, and targeted poverty alleviation is a successful example of inclusive growth.

As China pursues inclusive growth, it does so to ensure that the Chinese people will live a better and decent life, and the country can look forward to more robust economic and social development.

包容性增長

“包容性增長”的概念自2007年被亞洲開發銀行正式提出以來，已成為世界普遍認同的發展理念。它著眼于社會和經濟協調、可持續發展，蘊含著平等共享全球化成果、中小微企業及個人能力建設、弱勢群體保護、投資和貿易自由化等5項內容。中國是這一理念的積極實踐者和推動者。近年來，在世界經濟低迷的大環境中，中國經濟之所以能保持平穩發展，一個重要原因就是包容性不斷增強，走出了一條符合自身國情的包容性增長之路。在中國，就業是包容性增長的根本，“大眾創業、萬眾創新”是包容性增長的有效途徑，精準扶貧是包容性增長的亮點。中國包容性的增長就是要使人民生活得更好，更有尊嚴，使經濟社會發展更有活力。
