Coordinated Development

Coordinated development is the second of China's five concepts for development. In tandem with China's high speed growth, problems of imbalance and unsustainability have begun to emerge, becoming the weakest links in China's strive for further development. As Xi Jinping pointed out, "Coordinated development is a must if we want to see successful nationwide development during the 13th Five-year Plan period." The Plan therefore envisions strengthened policy coordination aimed at: 

–promoting coordinated urban and rural development so as to overcome the usual urban-rural dichotomy; 

–facilitating coordinated economic and social development, so as to bridge the gap currently existing between the two processes; and 

–synchronizing its new model of industrialization with expanded access to information technology, urbanization and agricultural modernization. 

It is essential to integrate development in different areas in a seamless manner that helps upgrade China's soft and hard power.

協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展

作為“五大發(fā)展理念”之一，協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展注重的是解決中國(guó)發(fā)展中的不平衡問(wèn)題。中國(guó)以往高速發(fā)展過(guò)程中出現(xiàn)和積累的不平衡、不協(xié)調(diào)、不可持續(xù)問(wèn)題，已經(jīng)成為繼續(xù)發(fā)展的“短板”。習(xí)近平曾強(qiáng)調(diào)：“下好‘十三五’時(shí)期發(fā)展的全國(guó)一盤(pán)棋，協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展是制勝要訣?！薄笆濉逼陂g，中國(guó)將會(huì)增強(qiáng)發(fā)展協(xié)調(diào)性，其重點(diǎn)有三方面：一是促進(jìn)城鄉(xiāng)區(qū)域協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展，旨在破解城鄉(xiāng)二元結(jié)構(gòu)難題；二是促進(jìn)經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展，旨在改變“一條腿長(zhǎng)、一條腿短”失衡問(wèn)題；三是促進(jìn)新型工業(yè)化、信息化、城鎮(zhèn)化、農(nóng)業(yè)現(xiàn)代化同步發(fā)展，致力于在增強(qiáng)國(guó)家硬實(shí)力的同時(shí)注重提升國(guó)家軟實(shí)力，增強(qiáng)發(fā)展整體性。
