China International Coffee and Bar Expo, which is approved by the Ministry of Commerce of China and co-hosted by the Commerce Skill Identity & Bite and Sup Servicing Development Center of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the China Hotel Association, the Commerce Economy Association of China and the Sino-Japanese Distribution Industry Committee, National Professional Committee of Barista, National Professional Committee of Bartender，will be held in December, 2007. The tenet of the exposition is to “set up platform for international cooperation, establish international famous chain, exhibit the image of international coffee and bar, and to promote the co-development of the global industry”, receiving the support from the authorities, other government institutions, global commercial organizations, and domestic and foreign organizations. It will definitely be the vastest, the most influential exposition in coffee and bar industry.
China International Coffee and Bar Expo, the only pageant that gets the approval of the Ministry of Commerce of China and is organized by the government will promote the cooperation between the domestic relative industries and international market. The exposition covers a big range: from coffee material to beverage, from processing equipment to decoration materials, from various containers to luxury applied in bars, from store or bar chains to investment institution. As a pageant for urban life style and quality, the exposition will perform a symphony of “opportunity”, “communication”, “cooperation”, and “development”.
With increasingly popularity of coffee in China, the annual consumption of coffee has increased by 40%, becoming the crucial engine for the global coffee consumption. In this critical moment, CICBE performs itself. The participants come from all around the world and more than sixty countries.
