China has opened the Library of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the largest science library in the country, to the public recently, People's Daily has reported.
The library of 40,000 square meters is located in Beijing's Zhongguan Village, China's first IT industry zone.
The library has totaling more than five million books. It has the most complete and systematic documentary and information resources about sciences and high technology development.
It has some 800 seats and a daily capacity of 1,200 visitors.
The library has opened online business meanwhile. People can read and borrow books from the library online.
