As Valentine’s Day is coming, Wang Hong, a 26-year-old accountant in southeast China’s Sichuan Province, is preparing a delightful surprise for his girlfriend to celebrate the festival of love.
Wang bought a parrot and has been training it to say “I love you.” He spends about three hours a day, and sometimes the whole Saturday or Sunday, on the training program.
According to Wang, he has been in love with his girlfriend for three years. He gave girlfriend roses and little pets before. His girlfriend used to love these gifts very much, but it’s not the case now.
A few days ago, Wang got the idea from a film. He considers that a parrot which can say “I love you” is an ideal gift to show his ardent love for her.
