Taxi Drivers, Police Vow Exam Help
Adjust font size:

June 7 marks the beginning of the annual national college entrance exam in China. A record 9.5 million students will sit the test, which many change their lives.

A taxi driver in Changsha city pastes a green logo on his car on June 6 to indicate college exam sitters can take his car to a test center for free.

Traffic police in Jinan, the capital city of east China's Shandong Province, on Wednesday launched a campaign to provide emergency service for the city's test-takers. Extra numbers of officers will patrol roads near test centers to ensure students reach the exams on time.

Authorities in Changsha city, in central China's Hunan Province, on Wednesday assigned special green paths for students in areas which usually have heavy traffic.

Some participants in the Changsha project also pasted green logos on their cars, which means students sitting exams can take their cars to test centers for free.

Traffic police officers in Jinan city stick green logos on their motorcycles on June 6. They will provide service to the city's test-takers during the exam period.
