Fenghuoshan Tunnel, the world highest one to be, is to going to be constructed by the 23rd Engineering Construction Bureau of Railways. So far, the preparation work has been put well underway,according to today's Peopledaily.com.
The tunnel lies at the 7th mark section of Golmud-Lhasa stretch along the Qinghai-Tibet railway. Stretching 1,390 meters it is located at 5,000 meters above sea level, really the highest one in the world.
