Get Ready to Rock
There used to be a time when rock'n rollers were branded as degenerates, labeled as rebels, or even delinquents.

But China Youth Daily reports that as people become more open-minded they're gaining a better understanding of rock 'n roll and re-thinking their negative viewpoints about it.

Music critic Jin Zhao Jun says that an increasing number of teenagers are embracing rock and roll and searching for a sense of self-awareness and self-recognition through it.

He explains that during the 50s in US, the rock?n roll revolution allowed youth to experience a whole new way of thinking, especially in how they perceived themselves and the larger world.

Rock?n roller Kou Zheng Yu says that rock?n roll is a natural expression of his passion, freedom and character. He adds that rock?n roll is only a form of popular music, so he hopes people could break their misconceptions about it.
