A survey shows that seven types of young people in their 20s and 30s choose to not work.
Shanghai-based Labor Daily gives the details of the types. The first group are those with low education and disadvantaged skills, which occupy 30 percent.
The second and third groups consist of college graduates with high job expectations and those who aspire to start their own business. Both occupy 15 percent respectively.
The fourth group are young laid-off workers, who occupies 10 percent of the total. The other types include job-hoppers, and dependent single children.
The survey also finds the number of young idlers is growing rapidly in recent years.
