College Graduates Pick Pig-rearing

Two college graduates chose not to become white-collar workers in the city. Rather, they went back to their rural hometown after graduation and earned a living by breeding pigs.

Long Bo and Wang Xu, who are getting married soon, graduated from Sichuan Agricultural University three years ago, when they surprised everyone by going back to their rural home to raise pigs.

Long says that they have introduced scientific methods to their pig breeding.

They have already pocketed over three million Yuan in the past three years, and have business in many counties around the Sichuan province. Now they often instruct other local farmers with their experience.

The couple says it is not embarrassing for college graduates to do farming work, and they remind new graduates that competing for a job in the city is not the only option.
