A wedding ceremony in the traditional Chinese style was held Sunday in Beijing's Hutong near Beihai Park. The traditional wedding is making a comeback among young couples.
A troop of escorts and musicians, playing happy music, escorted the bride to the bridegroom's home. Marching across the Beihai Park, the escorting team attracted lots of visitors in the park.
After the two bowed to each other, the bridegroom used a weighbeam to lift the red veil which covers the bride's head.
Some curious onlookers lifted the curtain of the sedan to see the bride.
The bride and the bridegroom were about to release the red balloons when the ceremony ended.
