Single, white-collar workers may now have a better chance of meeting their Mr. or Mrs. Right in Guangzhou.
The Nanfang Daily reports a travel agency in the city is arranging tailor-made tours for singles.
The paper says those interested in joining the tours complete online applications, which include information on their backgrounds and hobbies.
As an added safeguard, they are also required to show their ID cards and educational certificates.
To protect privacy they are allowed to use their online names when making contact with potential travel partners.
Most of the planned trips are short, just one or two days.
