All four rival Afghan groups meeting in Germany agreed Wednesday on who will serve in an interim government, finalising the terms of an historic UN-sponsored power-sharing accord, a United Nations spokesman said in Bonn.
They approved the 29 candidates for an interim government, UN spokesman Ahmad Fawzi told reporters.
On Tuesday, Fawzi said the Afghans would complete a list of names for a post-Taliban interim administration in order to reach a deal on political future in Afghanistan, a roadmap for lasting peace.
Fawzi said the Afghans had reconcile their positions in the past few days and agreed to the deal for power sharing at the UN-sponsored talks in Bonn, which started on November 27.
