Approved by Ministry of Finance, China's football lottery will be issued in 12 provinces and cities for trial beginning as from October 22 onwards.
China Sports Lottery Management Center issued Management Measures on Football Lottery Issuance and Sale and Regulation on Football Lottery. The 12 trial provinces and cities are Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Liaoning, Guangdong, Shandong, Sichuan, Chongqing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian and Hubei.
To make easy for lottery buyers, the lottery center installed lottery-reading machines for the 12 provinces' lottery-sale computer terminals.
Duan Shijie, vice president of All-China Sports Federation said that issuance of the football lottery will give an impetus on China's sports lottery industry and will also play a role in promoting the development of China's sports and other public welfare facilities.
