Chinese Trails for ELITE Model Look 2001-"Diana", has lately been opened in Beijing.
Setting up in 1971 in Paris the Elite Model Management Group is now acting for over 1,000 models of the five continents of the world. China joined the Elite Model Competition run by the group in 1991. This competition, co-sponsored by Market Development Center of Ministry of Culture, Elite Model Management, and China Garment Guild, is aiming at scouting for and training valuable models, and is undertaken by a Beijing model management company.
After qualification trails in nine cities, including Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu, and the outdoor photo-shooting at the "Golden Sand Beach" in Qingdao of Shandong Province, the models with s minimum height of 168cm, will take part in Beijing finals on August 16. And the champion of Beijing finals will be sent as Chinese candidate for the World Competition in Nice, France this September.
