The Guangzhou Post Management Center, one of the largest of its kind in Asia, was put into operation Monday in the capital city of Guangzhou Province, south China.
Covering some 45,000 square meters, the center is China's first- class hub for post administration and distribution. Equipped with various kinds of advanced post-related facilities and technologies, the Guangzhou Post Management Center will be able to process 150, 000 bags of mail, three million letters and large amounts of other post articles everyday.
It is expected that the operation of the center will alleviate the burden of post distribution in Guangdong and even the whole south China area.
