Floodwater is discharged through the sluiceway of the discharging Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River in Yichang, Hubei Province, Sept. 10, 2006. Owing to the rainfall in the upstream regions, the Three Gorges Dam has a good opportunity to store more water. It is estimated that the dam will reach 156 meters from current 135 meters on Sept. 20.
