Global consulting firm Roland Berger predicts that China will become one of the world's top 5 consultancy markets within 20 years.
Their annual report on the consultant market says it is gradually recovering after three year's downturn.
The only market on a real upswing over the past three years was China.
The country's consultant market value is estimated at US$500 million and the figure will be 20 billion dollars in twenty years time when China will be among the top five consultant markets.
Such an optimistic estimate is based on the increasing demand for such services as strategy consultation for Chinese businesses, purchasing proposals for multinationals and the realignment of state owned enterprises.
