TCL Corp., China's largest television and cell phone maker, said Saturday its TV sales had risen 20 percent in August to 1.86 million units from the same month last year.
TCL's mobile phone sales in China fell 41 percent to 228,029 units in August, it said in a statement published in the Securities Times, though overseas sales rose more than sevenfold to 494,716 units.
