China Unicom Ltd. said Friday the number of subscribers to its code division multiple access, or CDMA, network rose by 701, 000 in July, compared with an increase of 732,000 in June.
Of the new customers, 615,000 are using postpaid services and 86,000 are using prepaid. The mobile telecom carrier said 1.024 million new users signed up to its global system for mobile communications (GSM) service last month, compared with 1.012 million in June.
