The Press Office under the Ministry of Health published Tuesday afternoon a press release on the latest SARS situation on the Chinese mainland.
From 10:00 am July 7 to 10:00 am July 8, the Chinese mainland reported no new diagnosed and suspected SARS case, and no death. Two patients in Beijing recovered and were discharged from hospital.
Now 21 diagnosed patients are receiving treatment in a hospital on the Chinese mainland (all from Beijing).
The Chinese mainland reported 2 suspected SARS cases (both from Guangdong).
