A show on Chinese traditional costume and decoration will be held in Paris this October as part of the Chinese Year of Culture activities, the organizer announced at a press conference in Beijing Tuesday.
The show is composed of two parts, a performance and an exhibition.
The performance of Chinese traditional costume and decoration will be held as part of the opening ceremony of the Chinese Year of Culture activities and will also be staged at the Louvre on October 14.
The exhibition on Chinese costume and decoration will be held at the Chinese Cultural Center in Paris between October 3-6.
According to agreements reached by leaders of the two countries, a Chinese Year of Culture will be held in France between October 2003 and July 2004.
A French Year of Culture will be held in China from the autumn of 2004 to July 2005.
