Sino-American EMBA Program Launched in Shanghai

China's Fudan University and Washington University in Saint Louis of the United States jointly launched a program for Executive Master of Business Administration Sunday in Shanghai.

The program will offer training courses to middle and senior managers, who are expected to hold bachelors degrees, have a good English level and work experience of five years or more.

Zheng Zukang, vice-president of Fudan University, told Xinhua that the EMBA program aimed to help managers to know more about management.

The first phase of the Olin-Fudan EMBA program, which has enrolled 74 students, starts in April and will last 18 months, with US$37,600 of tuition fees for each student.

Teachers from both Fudan University and Washington University will write the curriculum and participate in teaching.

Washington University is one of the top 25 US universities, with its EMBA program ranking the eighth in the United States. Fudan University was one of the first Chinese universities to open an MBA course in 1990.
