US intelligence chief's inclusion of China in a list of challenge to the United States, is unreasonable, irresponsible and unacceptable, said Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Kong Quan.
Kong Quan called on US to do more on building friendly Sino-US relation, as an improvement in bilateral relations would be in the interest of both nations.
Kong made the remark in response to a question about the comment made by the director of the Central Intelligence Agency George Tenet in his recent speech to the US Congress that when China becomes a major power in Asia, it will pose a challenge to the strategic position of the United States in Asia.
